“the cleanser itself is perfect and i love the improvements it has brought to my skin. however, the new packaging is just not good. the tube is big, way too big; it doesn’t have the stability to allow you to store it vertically so you just have to lay it horizontally, which takes up a lot more space; the feeling when you screw the cap off and back on sounds cheap; and ultimately the metal seal on the hole where the products comes out of is just way too stiff to open the tube in an easy and “clean” way. i have ordered 2 of the cleansers with the new packaging so i’ll just deal with it until i run out of it but i really do hope that by the time i’ll have finished and reordered them the packaging will have been improved. i also hope facetheory will restore the pack-of-2 deal. love all the products anyways!”

“Very good cleanser with a lovely, light smell. I've used this before and bought again however, I'm really not a fan of the new packaging (hence 4 stars). I much preferred the jars which were easy to open and use - this one you have to squeeze the tube in a certain way to ensure that it stands up (balance). It's also ridiculous that the cap doesn't have something to open it with.”

“36, F, Combination skin. I have been using this morning and evening for a little over 3 weeks with the Blemicalm toner and serum, plus the Supergel oil free moisturiser (morning) and HydrSerene night cream (night) and can definitely see a difference in my skin. I was starting to suffer with angry, red patches on my face and constant breakouts on my chin (I suspect due to using products too harsh for my skin in an attempt to combat the breakouts). A friend recommended me the Blemicalm FaceTheory toner, and I loved the look of the range so much I bought the whole lot! This cleanser is a delight to use. It smells amazing (I do wish it was a little stronger tbh - but I'm a big fan of smells and they don't irrittate my skin), it is wonderfully light on the skin when you apply it and it just melts in. Doesn't feel at all heavy or greasy on rinsing off, which I love, and my skin feels nourished. After 20 years of having a tight face after washing, this is a refreshing change! There is a teeny tingle if you've got any broken skin, but it soon goes. The difference in my skin is quite astounding. Overall complexion has evened out, no more angry redness and no dry flaky bits. I still get the odd chin spot but nowhere near as bad as it was previously. My only complaint (not enough to dock stars, but I feel it needs to be said) is that while I love that the packaging is recyclable and sustainable etc (as a new customer I don't know what it was before), and I love the asethetic... it is quite fiddly to get the tube cap back on. It also doesn't travel all that well - and the tube gets squished which means when you open it more squirts out than you need. A Pump bottle/tube would be great.”

“Love the cleanser, great texture and cleanses make up etc away perfectly. The product is fab and I understand why the jars couldn’t stay but only negative for me, which I haven’t deducted marks for is the new tubes, I don’t have dexterity issues but squeezing the tube with wet hands is a real challenge, they are a bit too rigid and the screw on lid is too small, I did cut my fingers trying to get through the seal as well but other than that no issues!”
