“Triggered anti virus warnings. Not a genuine piece of software. Wowcher not responding via email. Third party retailer not helpful. False and misleading advertising.”

“If I could give this 0/5 I would. Absolutely does not work. This is a scam of the first order. Wowcher should not be selling this. I had downloaded Autocad through the official channels but the licence number and serial number supplied were invalid. When I contacted technical support at the software vendor (licenseplace - actually a company registered in the Netherlands), they advised the following (this is from licenseplace's own online support): "- Download the trial of revo uninstaller Pro - Remove everything from Autodesk also from the register, you can do also with revo unistaller and restart your computer - Disable your antivirus before installation like Autodesk also recommends (see attachment Autodesk1) - Unzip the folder with winrar (we recommend winrar you can download it for free), we don't recommend the build in from Microsoft or 7-zipor Winzip. - Then you should see 2 folders (see attachemnt autodesk2), in your case there will be mentionned autocad as first folder - Then you go the first folder and you start the installation from the first folder. - After the installation is finished you go to the second folder, right click on volume licentie and run it as administrator, after a few moments you will see a message activation ready - Then you can open the software and the first time it ask for a single license or network license. You chose for network license. If everything went well they don't ask for the license because we already this trough the volume activation tool. - After that the programm shoud start - When you open the second time it will not ask anymore for a license If you don't succeed with the installation, we can always plan a remote session to help you, all free of charge." I would never want to disable my antivirus to download something, and the official download from Autocad does NOT ask for this. Having banged my head against the wall with my computer for about 3 hours I contacted my own technical support and their reply included this sentence: "I've had a little look and it does seem extremely weird! I don't know why they are suggesting that you need to do all that unless it is a total scam and they are giving multiple people the same code and hoping they give up." Makes me wonder about buying anything else ever again from Wowcher, frankly...”

“no matter how many times i installed the software it refused the license saying wrong code. So although i was very please to purchase the product, the help I received was to tell me to uninstall and re install. while I admit I am not a computer nerd if a making a mistake I do not know what that mistke may be, so I may be just repeating the mistake. Disappointment does not give me back the number of hours I have spent trying to load the software.”

“Wanted some cad software just to play around with now I'm retired. Installed easily after disabling my antivirus program. All seems to work fine. Plenty of tutorials on YouTube to get started as hadn't used autocad for over 30 years.”

“I have been trying for day to download Autocad to avail. I cannot speak to anyone. I was given possible time slots for a remote session with wowcher@licenseplace.co.uk. I gave theh a time I would like and by time they came back to me it was gone. I have asked them to give me a time and I would make it. That was 7 hours ago and I have had no reply.”

“After purchasing the voucher, I was emailed instructions and links on how to download and install the product before using the license. It took about 10-15 mins from start to finish to install Autocad full version... At a fraction of the price. Would use this method again...”
