“Manchester Piccadilly. Waited an hour for food, no apologies! Chased with waiter twice and all he said was he would be with us shortly.. we were the only people in for a while and people after us were served ahead of us!! 1 person gluten free, disappointing alternative, rock hard scones, sloppy curdled cream. boiling hot day outside, air con not working so boiling inside too.. fire alarm went off twice, no one advised us it was a drill or a problem, we were left wondering what to do.. again no updated us.. Explained it was an 80th birthday celebration, no effort or mention of this, totally ignored!! Would I recommend.. NO”

“Very different afternoon tea, no sandwiches. The food however was delicious. 3 savoury and 4 small treats provided. I would have liked another savoury added. Staff were very attentive and helpful .”

“Bought this for my brother in laws birthday treat. It was exactly that. Nice change from sandwiches, pies & quiche. We had prawn cocktail, burger, chicken breast bites & a delicious selection of sweet treats. Washed down with a glass of prosecco. The staff were all amazing Would definitely recommend & we will be booking another. Absolute bargain.”

“My husband and I very much enjoyed this afternoon tea, especially given that it’s different from the usual sandwiches. The chicken was probably our favourite savoury item and the scone was lovely and light. Would definitely revisit.”
