“This was our 3rd visit to the Malmaison, Piccadilly in Manchester. The staff were lovely and efficient. My friend found a fork that was dirty and I had a knife that was. This hasn't happened before. We didn't find the cakes as nice as last time. The scones weren't very soft and the ginger cake was dry. I don't drink tea and coffee so I ordered a Coke 0 and I was charged £4 for it. We thought it should have been free because I didn't have any expens coffee or tea. I didn't have to pay at the Midland Hotel.”

“Lovely hotel and good service. You need a print out of the voucher as they are not happy with digital. The savouries in the tea are fab. The cakes less so. Scones a bit tough and dry. Cakes seemed a bit soggy or dry. Definitely not freshly made. Bit disappointing as last time I went it was all superb.”
