“Not been to Chiquitos for years...... on this evidence we've been missing out!! Shared a generous portion of nachos to start with, followed by Enchiladas which were very nice - all topped off with cheesecake. The staff were 'chirpy' although service was at times a little slow. Otherwise no negatives. The Wowcher was excellent value”

“The offer itself was fantastic value for money and the food really nice. I give 4 stars because upon arrival at Newcastle restaurant the front of house desk were really helpful when I advised we had the Wowcher and ran through the couple of options we couldn’t have, but said to mention to server who would confirm. We were seated and then mentioned to our server who was less pleasant. She advised she had no idea and said she couldn’t advise what was off limits and that the option changed daily (incorrect as written in Wowcher site). She advised that we needed to check on the Wowcher app or risk being charged full price. She was quite unhelpful. An aside, I bought the voucher for 3 but my daughter’s boyfriend came to, so I advised the server we would obviously pay full price for the extra person. Upon ordering I was specific on numerous occasions what was ordered under the Wowcher voucher and was specific as to the extra persons meal which I would pay for separately to the prepaid. It was then annoying at the end to find she had put everything on one bill and proceeded to charge me for the most expensive items (which were covered under the Wowcher) and said she was unable to “pick and choose’ (her words) which items I would pay for (despite me being very specific when I ordered. I told her this and she just said there was nothing she could do. Not great customer service and not particularly polite. It spoiled our meal somewhat.”
