“Good lord I got sucked in! I bought it as the description is very similar to a decent brands mattress. (should have spent the money ) I'm not sure WHERE the gel layer is but not on MY mattress. The springs can be felt through the top layer just laying your hand on it. I'm not sure what the reference to 13 zones is about, if you sit on it you can feel the slats of my bed through the gel memory foam and 13 zones. Once you manage to get on it, you'll roll around and feel seasick from the movement, and within a foot of the edge you actually roll off the side whilst listening to the crunch of the springs. Aesthetically, the fluff ( gel memory foam) is caught and protruding from the stitching which gives it a warm fuzzy look if nothing else. And as for extra thick........hmmmmm think not. I contacted wowcher for a refund and have heard nothing yet, also read I'd have to pay the return delivery in the original packaging ( its shrink wrapped lol) which galls me somewhat but I suppose IF IT SOUNDS TOO GOOD TO BE TRUE, IT IS! May the odds be ever in your favour x”

“I was sent a completely different mattress, cheap one with springs , raised the issue with wowcher before it left the warehouse as the description was wrong on the courier email and yet it still came wrong . After a week and nothing has been done yet . So I am stuck with a super king size mattress that is of no use to me”

“This is the worst mattress I’ve ever tried. It is SPRING, not memory foam. It springs when you move it, let alone get on it. Returning is expensive and a nightmare. Do not buy this mattress.”

“This is a decent mattress but I would say that it is definitely more soft/medium than medium/firm (although I do like a very firm mattress). It’s fine for my teenager but I think someone heavier might find it a bit soft. Saying that, you cannot feel any of the springs through it and it was a bargain price. Will have to see how it is after a few weeks/months use. We followed the instructions and left it for 48 hours. Note that the delivery took longer than advertised on Wowcher and it was quite expensive to have it delivered (>£20).”
