“My experience with Volunteering Solutions was great! I had an amazing time in Thailand teaching Buddhist monks English, travelling, and exploring Thai culture! The whole experience also felt safe and comfortable (if something completely out of one’s comfort zone can still be called that)! I really enjoyed everything that happened to me, and am really happy that I made a decision to go! The Volunteering Solutions team was also responsive and welcoming during my experience, and was frequently checking up on me, so that I don’t have any issues!”

“I love the time I spend with the elephants. It was magic. If There’s something I can say is that I don’t feel that I learned a lot of them, the people in the camp didn’t share important information, they said the things I already knew by reading, and when I asked, the person in charge didn’t want to answer. Everything else was awesome.”

“This was one of the most amazing experiences of my life! I am truly grateful to the organisation for having organised this trip with care and responsibility. The tours were all very well organised and enjoyable and the staff was always helpful and friendly. The group was excellent and we became friends quickly, which was especially important on our free days! The volunteering days were very few, which I did not expect. I wish we could have spent more time at the elephant camp which their amazing team of workers, who care deeply for the elephants. I recommend this trip for all young travellers who have an aptitude and curiosity for adventure, as well as some volunteering. I encourage them to ask many questions and read carefully the itinerary to know exactly what they will be doing. Amazing and life changing experience overall!!”

“Hi, I really liked the experience. The kids and everyone on the school and in Friends of Asia were really cool. I think that will be better to have more definition of the functions of the volunteer in the school, may be send information before the trip so the volunteer cools prepare something’s to help better in the classes and to the kids.”

“The experience was all around great!! We chose the two week special in Thailand. We loved our time at Happy Elephant Home. The people were amazing, the food was amazing, and the views were amazing! Everything ran super smoothly and there was not a time where I didn’t feel safe! Highly recommend!!”
