Great experience! Honestly, it requires a good adaptability for the environment and a lot of patience with children Children are amazing, and the intercultural connection is an authentic enrichment for anyone taking part of this program. The welcome by Ms. Uma and her family has been warm and they gave all the necessary information about the country and the program. She organized greatly the tours around Kathmandu and other destinations. We have particularly appreciated her efforts to allow us having the volunteer experience, as during our stay there was a national strike of teachers: she found an alternative solution in a different school! Also, closing the day at dinner with other volunteers and the family of Uma has been an awesome moment of sharing. Just a suggestion: it would be better to allow volunteers who prefer having a private accomodation to have the opportunity to evaluate it in advance. In general, it has been a positive adventure.

I recently completed a Medical Internship trip to Nepal with Volunteering Solutions and it was an exceptional experience. The organization was well-organized and provided excellent support throughout my journey. From the moment I arrived in Nepal, I felt welcomed and taken care of. The medical internship program was truly eye-opening and gave me the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a developing country. I was able to work alongside local healthcare professionals and assist in providing care to those in need. The medical facilities and staff were top-notch, and I was able to learn so much from my time there. In addition to the medical work, I was able to experience the rich culture and history of Nepal. The team at Volunteering Solutions made sure I had the opportunity to visit local markets, temples, and take part in unique cultural activities. I was also able to make new friends from all over the world and build lasting relationships with the local community. Overall, I would highly recommend Volunteering Solutions to anyone looking for a meaningful and impactful medical internship experience in Nepal. The team at Volunteering Solutions is knowledgeable, friendly, and always went above and beyond to make sure my trip was unforgettable. I left Nepal with a wealth of knowledge and memories that will last a lifetime.

Celia Carmo

When you say festival season you should tell volunteers that the kids dont actually have class. Watching them sit around watching tv felt very rewarding. Where does all the money go? Does it go to the kids? I did funraising for this occasion too. Gave most of the donations to the schools directly. I had to pay quite a bit for 2 weeks, so i wonder where that money goes. I even had to pay extra cause I postponed and then the back and forth emails suggested i left it too late, but i had no control over me getting sick? So that comment really bugged me when i was in hospital stressed out trying to change everything around. I found more sense in helping the children in the neighbourhood with educational resources. I didnt find this experience to be what was intended. I feel like this company is a money grabbing organisation. If you want to go with a volunteer organisation go with TEFL. My experience with them was legitimate.
