“What areas did you like about our website? The amount of various programs available to volunteers as well as the flexibility with duration and timings of program. How did you find the pre departure booklet given to you and the service of the staff in regards to answering your questions and helping you prepare? Quick response to the questions asked. Did you enjoy working at your project / placement? Yes it was a very enjoyable trip. The placement was comfortable and I had fun helping around the orphanage. The experience was great. Accommodation and meals Comfortable accommodation and good satisfying meals. The comfort was somewhat unexpected as I thought the conditions may have been worse. What was the highlight of your volunteering experience and your trip? The ability to help the kids out and play with them as well as the short trip to Chitwan with the other volunteers. The activities were great. Would you recommend this program and our organization to others? yes/no Yes. A very rewarding trip with many new experiences.”

“How did you find the pre departure booklet given to you and the service of the staff in regards to answering your questions and helping you prepare? All very Good. The staff were quick to reply to my queries. Did you enjoy working at your project / placement? Really enjoyed working at the school a little more direction in the beginning needed. Overall loved it. Accommodation and meals All excellent. I was made very comfortable felt very safe and welcomed. My privacy was always maintained. Meals were also really good. What was the highlight of your volunteering experience and your trip? The highlight of my trip was seeing the snow capped mountains of the Himalayas on my trek and during the volunteering I would get cheers and applause in every class I would go to. Would you recommend this program and our organization to others? yes/no YES. I definitely would.”

“Everything was easy to find on Volunteering Solutions website all the information was there which was needed before the trip. The pre departure booklet was pretty good and the communication of the staff through emails was good. The orphanage placement was good. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at the placement. The highlight must be the daily life at the orphanage to be around the kids in any given situation and be a part of their lives for three weeks. The accommodation was perfect. We were three girls traveling together and we got a room together so that&#39 s nice. I would surely going to recommend this organization to my friends and family members.”

“The website is nice has secure login Pre - Departure information and guide to the destination. It was good that we had to provide flight arrival and departure details video testimonials. The pre departure booklet was very useful. The staff at Volunteering Solutions was helpful in answering our queries. I thoroughly enjoyed my volunteer placement at the orphanage in Nepal. Uma her family the helpers and children are wonderful. I have learnt alot about the Nepalese culture traditions people and way of life from my time here. Everyday at the project was a highlight! We arrived just in time for the month long celebration of festivals in October so the town was buzzing with atmosphere. At home we witnessed our host family prepare for the festivities. We even had a chance to watch the children perform a traditional Nepalese dance show for us. The accommodation was very good. I loved eating Nepalese food. Accommodation was comfortable. I enjoyed staying at the same place as the children. I will definitely recommend Volunteering Solutions.”

“The layout of the website was nice as well as the step by step information about program location and programs. I found pre departure booklet very helpful when preparing for the trip and we arrived Uma explained everything we needed to know which helped us feel at ease. The program placement was wonderful. The kids were eager to learn new English sentence and appreciate our help. The day we brought balloons and bubble mix for the kids and watching them play with them for hours is the highlight of my stay in Nepal. The accommodation was nice and meals were provided everyday for every meals. No complaints. I would surely recommend your organization.”

“I liked the website. I was able to read past volunteers reviews on their experience. The pre departure booklet was very informative and thorough. It answered pretty much all of my questions. I lessened my worries on what to expect and bring. I loved working at my hospital placement very much. I learned a lot from all the nurses and doctors. They all were very friendly and kind. The highlight of my volunteering at the hospital was being able to start IVS for the patients that needed the treatment. The nurses always helped and taught me how to do things. This 3 months trip was the best experience I have been through. I Loved traveling in Nepal meeting the kids and meeting other volunteers. Living with Uma Abhishek and the kids at the orphanage was wonderful. They are all very kind and fun to be around. My room was clean and was presented with clean sheets pillow and blanket on my bed when i arrived. I was given 3 meals a day which were always delicious. I would definitely recommend this to my friend and someone else that is interested in doing something like this. They would certainly have a great time.”

The Pre departure booklet was clear and elaborate. All the questions I asked were answered quickly and well. Did you enjoy working at your project / placement? The first week was difficult but as soon as I got to know the kids it was great. A very good experience. Accommodation and meals It was really nice to stay with locals which really made me get to know the local culture. What was the highlight of your volunteering experience and your trip? Momo party at the orphanage dancing with the children canyon swing and Chitwan. My trip had a lot of highlights. Would you recommend this program and our organization to others? yes/no Yes. I felt safe at every moment. Was well taken care of and knew that I could contact someone if something would happen. Any comments and suggestions These children are very special and I hope to come and visit them again.”

It was extremely helpful to have the information in such a simple accessible form. Did you enjoy working at your project / placement? Working at the Teku hospital was an extremely interesting and knowledgeable experience. I learned a lot about diseases I might have never seen at home. Accommodation and meals My accommodation was extremely comfortable and the meals were delicious. I would not have expected the high quality I received even if I&#39 s come as a tourist. What was the highlight of your volunteering experience and your trip? The weekend trips with other volunteers and the unparalleled hospitality of my hosts made this trip an adventure I will never forget. Would you recommend this program and our organization to others? yes/no YES. I will highly recommend both this program and the company.”
