“What areas did you like about our website? Was very easy to look at the choices and destinations available. How did you find the pre departure booklet given to you and the service of the staff in regards to answering your questions and helping you prepare? I feel the pre departure booklet was very helpful however I feel it could have included maybe some extra points such as prices etc when living in India. Also I would have maybe preferred some more contact with staff in regards to the project and what it may involved. Did you enjoy working at your project / placement? I thoroughly enjoyed the placement and feel it was a great experience and would defiantly consider revisiting the orphanage in the near future. Accommodation and meals The food provided at the orphanage was far greater than ever expected and allowed me to experience and taste different traditional Indian dishes all very enjoyable. Coordinator The coordinator &lsquo Prabir&rdquo could not have been better and was extremely helpful and very friendly by being more than happy to help when we need it inn regards to sightseeing and getting around. What was the highlight of your volunteering experience and your trip? Working and interacting with the children was an amazing and rewarding experience and is a shame to be leaving after such a short time of only a week. Would you recommend this program and our organization to others? yes/no YES!!”

“How did you find the pre departure booklet given to you and the service of the staff in regards to answering your questions and helping you prepare? It was helpful however the booklet lacked some information and maybe could of gone into more detail. The staff were helpful and replied to email queries within a reasonable time. Did you enjoy working at your project / placement? I really enjoyed my week in the orphanage and wish that I would have been able to stay longer! The children were lovely and all the people were really friendly and helpful I could not of asked for anything more. Accommodation and meals The accommodation and food was amazing! The rooms had a fan to keep you cool and there were mosquito nets on the beds which was a bonus. We were fed so much three times a day and the traditional Indian cooking was great. Coordinator Our coordinator Prabir was so lovely he was friendly helpful and would do anything to make our stay more comfortable. Everyone at the house was friendly too and more than happy to help which made our stay even better. What was the highlight of your volunteering experience and your trip? Working with the children they were very good and did their homework and really enjoyed playing games etc. They were the highlight of my trip and I shall miss them all a-lot! Would you recommend this program and our organization to others? yes/no YES!! Any comments and suggestions None the trip was excellent!”

“I like the look of the website especially with all the pictures. The pre departure booklet was very helpful. The staff answered all the questions very fast and very well. I thoroughly enjoyed working at my placement. The kids are so nice and lovely. Highlight of my volunteer experience was dancing with the kids with German music. The other highlight of my trip was Taj Mahal and Jaipur and dinner with a poor local Indian family. The accommodation was very comfortable the bed too. The food was good. The coordinators/staff was very professional and every time available whenever needed. I would surely recommend Volunteering Solutions. Thank you all for great experience!! &lt 3 Nicole”

“I loved the reviews from volunteers and the fan page on Facebook. Sahil was very helpful and kind in his emails to me. I thoroughly enjoyed it. The kids were so kind and always offering us food and hot tea. Also they were so eager to have us and learn. The highlight was meeting the Indian host family and staff and volunteering. The staff was very kind and always asking how our days were. Great staff full of different and great personalities. I loved when eggs were served and tomato sandwiches. I loved the food and accommodation. I will definitely recommend this program and your organization to others.”

“I really like the reviews from volunteers in the past. The pre departure booklet did provide quite a lot of useful information . I very much enjoyed my placement. The kids were pleasure to work with. We learned a lot about managing the kids and providing them with what they need. The highlight would be working one on one with kids and the weekend trip to Jaipur. Accommodation was perfect and I enjoyed the meals a lot - very delicious. The staff was friendly and professional. It was truly valuable experience so I would recommend this organization to everyone who wants to volunteers.”

“The website was very helpful easy to access all information. The pre departure booklet was pretty helpful too. I enjoyed working at my placement. The highlight was working with the children getting to know the staff and culture of India. I loved the Itinerary prepared by Mr. Rajiv for Jaipur it was perfect. The accommodation was very pleasant and food was good. All the staff was wonderful. I will recommend Volunteering Solutions to others for sure.”

“The pre departure booklet was very useful. I had a very good time at placement with lot of interesting experiences. Really good to stay at such a rural region and to get closely people living there. The home stay was very simple but clean with a lot of friendly and helpful people. My host family was very nice. Really took care of me and helped me with each issue. The meals were good during whole day. Especially not so spicy and sweet thing in the morning. I was stratified how things are going and would recommend Volunteering Solutions to others.”

“I liked everything about the website. Its holds all the information you need and more and it&#39 s also easy to find the information you&#39 re looking for. The information booklet like the website had all the information I needed. I had a lot of questions before coming to India so I sent a lot of e-mails to VS. I was impressed that they always replied my e-mails within just a few hours!! The fact they answered my questions so fast made me a lot more relaxed about choosing VS and going to India. I Absolutely loved my program placement! I wouldn&#39 t give back my 7 weeks with the street children for anything! I had no problem getting to and from work and I felt comfortable in the center with the children and the people who worked there. I do feel like my time was appreciated maybe because I stayed a little bit longer than just a couple of weeks. I fell completely in love with the children and also grew close friends with local staff at the center. They do such a great job with the kids. One of the saddest things I&#39 ve ever done was leaving them behind and since I come home not a day goes by where I don&#39 t think about them. I will keep them with me in my heart forever. The highlight was All the love the kids were able to give me and every morning when I arrived at the center and the kids shouted &quot Good morning Anine Diddi!!&quot Rajiv for me was a great coordinator and host. Whenever I needed something Rajiv and Priya were happy to help. They would answer all my questions and give me tips on where to go and what to do. Yogen was also very eager to entertain and help out the volunteers. We were offered clean and comfortable accommodation at Rajiv&#39 s. At first I was skeptical to sharing a room with so many other volunteers but it worked out fine and I made some friends for life. Food is good. I think it is good that they serve Indian food. I would surely Recommend Volunteering Solutions to friends and family.”
