It was a great experience seeing the children at the projects and seeing the temples. Great host, made me feel comfortable and relax.

The Street Children Program in Delhi was such an amazing experience! I felt very comfortable in the accommodation. The food was very good and also the hosts are very friendly and helpful in any situation. I was also always warmly welcomed at school. I loved that I was as close as possible to the people to get to know them and the culture well. I really appreciate the experience and would do it again. Thank you so much!

This program is fantastic if you want to integrate yourself into the true spirit of volunteering in India. I spent four weeks at a school working with street children and would highly recommend this program to anyone who enjoys spending time making children happy and learning about how life is led in the slums of India.

I had the experience of working on the Construction and Renovation Project in Jaipur. I really liked how all the processes were organized – from the accommodation and leisure of the volunteers, to the working conditions on the sites. I want to say a big thank you to Hasmik and Aplav for their great work and warm welcome. I highly recommend this and other projects in Jaipur! It was an unforgettable experience and an informative trip to India. I hope to return there again.

I travelled to New Dehli to volunteer on the Street Children project as a group of 30 from DN Colleges Group. From the moment we arrived at the airport Rajiv, Sahil and Shankar could not have looked after us better. With their expert guidance and perfectly planned itinerary we saw so many of the wonderful places of interest this marvellous place has such as Qatar Miner, Humayun's Tomb, Taj Mahal, Akshardham Temple, Lotus Temple, Gurudwara Bandla Sahib, India Gate, Gandhi Smriti and the famous Dilli Haat. They listened to the group and made adjustments to the plans based on what they knew we enjoyed "shopping" which I guess shows how materialistic us Westerners are....... The restaurants they chose for us for our dinner were incredible allowing us to delight in so many various local dishes, I will no longer be a Korma or Tikka Masala person, and eating with your fingers is sooooo liberating. Now on to the important part... the children!! Well this is an experience no amount of research or preparation can prepare you for. I feel so humbled to be welcomed in to the lives of these selfless individuals who value education so dearly and the children who despite the poverty and lacking in materialistic items give everything they have wholeheartedly to you. This experience has changed me, my outlook on life, my values and a little piece of my heart will remain with the children of Rajkumar Kamal Nayan School forever x
