Suet Pellets - Insect Reviews

4.8 Rating 409 Reviews
Read Vine House Farm Reviews

There are so many ways of feeding these suet treats - from a mesh peanut feeder (with or without peanuts), mixed with seed or simply on their own from a bird table or the ground. They are a favourite of Blackbirds, Robins, Song Thrushes and Starlings.

I frequentlypurchase bird seed and suet pellets from Vine House farms and I have never had a need to complain.... my birds here are always ready for the seed & suet pellets that I put out for them .and the proof is nothing left! Waiting for the next feed!

Excellent product; all our local birds want it - sparrows, robins, magpies, wood pigeons, rock doves - all say, "Give us more"!

I don't know if it is the dry weather but there seems to be a shortage of insects. Perhaps that is why the birds are going through all my suet products. The suet pellets, balls and slabs are all extremely popular across all sizes of our visitors. The seed containers are not as popular but suet with insets certainly.

I don't know what these taste like (although I have been tempted) but I can vouch for the fact that my feeder rarely has any feed in it for longer than 10/15 minutes. The Starling do most of the heavy lifting - sometimes 40/50 trying to access a two perch feeder, but the chaos they create keeps many other birds happy with the remnants, and the occasional Housesparrow often manages to nip in during any very brief lull.

The blackbirds love these, particularly in spring and early summer, when they wait around for me to put some out, then stuff their beaks full and fly to their nest to feed their young. Other ground feeders like Robins and sparrows also enjoy them.

The pellets come in a cardboard box so easily recyclable. They are a great price for the largest box. The birds absolutely love them and never leave any.
