“This is a solidly made item, but I found it very difficult to take the lid on and off, and impossible to remove the collar, to gain access into the cage to clean out the feeder, even though the manufacturers recommend this. I have had to return two orders of the same item, and believe there are some serious design issues with this item. Vine House Farm, as always have been very helpful, and are not quibbling about issuing a refund.”

“Purchased mainly to deter starlings, blackbirds and jackdaws as they have their own feeders in our garden. We had cheap anti squirrel feeders but the cages are too narrow and allow bigger birds to reach through whereas these feeders are built like fortresses and completely defeat the bigger birds so our little birdy friends can feed in peace and be assured of a feed.”

“Fastening lugs on the lid didn’t lock and all the contents ended up on the rockery! Bad design and poorly made. Vine House Farm refunded straight away so no complaints about their customer service.”

“Easy to assemble. Only the youngest and skinniest squirrels and parakeets can reach the food; the adults try but soon give up. Pigeons can't reach in. Very popular with the other garden birds.”
