“Well made and comfortable. Look like black jeans when on. Very warm as padded and can't remove the lining. Some reviews said no belt loops on the front but mine have them all the way around. I normally wear 36" waist jeans and trousers so ordered the size XL. They are a generous fit, and I probably could have worn a large, but with a belt they should be fine and the leg length is good for me being taller. Great for winter, spring and autumn when too cold or wet for jeans, but will be too warm to function as summer waterproofs.”

“Got these as a gift for my husband. He is very happy with the fit and function - he also has the matching jacket. Both items have been well tested in Great British downpours. Had to order size small and return the medium, even though measurements seemed as though medium would have been perfect.”

“i`m 178cm size M fits me, but size S leg length would be perfect for me. Really comfortable to wear, haven`t tested it in rain yet. I`ve worn it with a belt and is absolutely fine for me.”

“Overall a good pair of trousers. However, like others have said a lack of belt loops is a bit odd! Also, after riding in heavy rain on two occasions I can say that mine are not waterproof! Great in cold months and when it’s drizzling, but in heavy rain you’ll need actual waterproof over trousers to stay dry.”

“Initially bought size up but really not necessary. Exchanged for correct size for my waist. I bought these trousers to cope with rainy days - or days when rain is forecast and they worked well when I was caught out in heavy rain. The only down side to these trousers is they are heavy coz of lining and feel more like winter trousers in the top half but summer trousers in the lower half (no additional lining here). They will be perfect through Autumn tho not sure about summer riding especially on those days when temp is in the 20's - lighter trousers will be needed then and thermal leggings for very cold Winter days. I am pleased I bought them because much of our weather these days is in the mid range of temperatures and these will work well for all of those occasions. I think Urban Rider has become the top shop for good biking gear and their customer service is second to none.”
