I have decided to keep these, despite their weird fitting, mainly because of the good price I got them for.. I ordered a small as I am a 30 waist normally. These fit well everywhere other than the waist! The waist has 3 to 4 inches of room in them! Easily sorted by a nice tight belt you may say but as others have remarked there are no front belt loops which makes a tight fitting belt feel a bit weird and the front of the trousers hang below it!! Haven't tested fully yet as I am still in all my winter gear (I ride every day of the year) but they seem warm enough for those fresh spring/autumn days.

I ordered the medium but they were way too tight and even the replacement size large, that I had to order elsewhere sadly, are snug. They are terrific pants though. Really comfortable when riding and look great on and off the bike.

There are no belt loops on the front of the trousers, so a belt wouldn't hold them up. Braces solved the problem. I needed a 36" waist and am usually 34" Keeps the wind off and warm enough, but I can't really comment on the waterproofing yet (I haven't ridden in seriously wet weather yet). There is one aesthetic problem with the material. The trousers are black but there are white fibres protruding all over them (and matching jacket). From the very first wear, the trousers looks like they've been slept in (please see pics below)

A nice trouser overall, sadly at 6'4" as is the case with most trousers without adjustable knee pads, the pads are a bit high when sat on the bike but they are ultra thin so managable. Don't know why they have missed putting a belt loop either side of the zip though as they are quite heavy so need either a belt or braces and withouit the front loop, the belt rides up a bit. As others have said, definitely order a size up on your usual.

These trousers are amazing, they have the look of my belstaff jacket as they use the same/similar technical waxed cotton. I'm usually about a 30 to 32 and these were definitely on the small size for me, so if in doubt size up! As usual urban rider sent these out ASAP in sturdy packaging and were with me in about 2 days. Also, when you buy from Urban Rider you get a returns label so its always super easy and free to return if its not the right size or whatever.

Came up way too small. Had to return and unfortunately the next size up was out of stock. Look well made and stylish, but very pleased with the alternative Fuel Sergeant trousers.
