I’ve worn it daily for a few weeks and not sure if I quite have found the right setting - larger than usual chest. However you don’t feel short changed! Fantastic build and sensibly functional. Like the fact that it isn’t completely full with a large full face helmet! I do wish there was an easy access zip to either main compartments or an easy access pocket on the outside instead of having to open the double buckle every time. Small issues, but feel it’s bag that I will grow to love more!

Let me start by saying that this is a great, waterproof, motorcycle backpack. I love it. However, it's not quite as great if you are planning on it as a carry-on/daypack for regular travelling or other non-riding purposes. Because it's been designed for utility and waterproofness while riding, functionality and expanding size were the priorities and not weight. Frankly, it's simply overkill when used for purposes other than riding. If you are looking for a backpack to use for riding, Kriega makes great ones, and this is one of the best. You will get a durable, functional, and comfortable bag. Just don't plan on carrying it on long hikes or cross continental train trips.

The shoulder strap design moves the weight away from the shoulders and onto the chest/core area, making the bag feel extremely light. At times it almost feels as if there's no bag on my back. It's very slim when empty but can expand to enormous size when needed. It's like having 2 bags in 1. Very versatile. My only criticism is the lack of color options. I would definitely buy this bag again if they made it in brown or grey.

Very high quality. Flexible size and easy to increase/decrease the size. Nice secure fit when reading and no added wind noise. It was the top end of my budget but glad I paid the the slightly higher price would have regretted buying a cheaper but inferior product.

Great build quality, loads of compartments and pockets for keeping things in place. A good size for commuting, general rides and small weekend trips. The features such as the harness help to take the weight off and give you a comfortable amount of movement. It’s been on my wishlist for a long time so glad I took the plunge to ditch the high street backpack in favour for a much more dedicated product.

It's my first Kriega bag and I can see why this bag is so popular and expensive. For me its worth it. From the Fabric down to the zippers nothing was compromised. I was considering the R25 but when I saw this MAX28 I immediately knew this was the right bag for me. Its so sophisticated compared to the R25. I love all the compartments and features.
