Amazing bag pack! Now we just need to get back to normality so I can start using it!

Great bag. All rounder. Good for an early morning joy ride or going to a client call. And works well with my bad back. Shifts the load to my upper body than my lower back.

This is my first foray into the Kriega family and I must say I'm pretty happy. It did sting a bit to part with that many Darwin's for a bag, however you can see where the money has been spent. For a start It's built like a tank. The materials are rugged (if not a little heavy) and waterproofing is more than claimed. The thing also eats your gear up, which I'm sure is something to do with it's square-ish shape. The extra volume is also handy, however I doubt I will ever use it for a full face helmet (not sure where you'd put the stuff already in the bag?) Main thing is it's much more organized than most other bags on the market. I also like all the little cinchs that stop the straps flapping in the wind. It's main strength however is the quadlock lite system which as far as I can tell uses some sort of magic to re-distribute weight in the most comfortable manner possible over you whole trunk. It did take quite a bit of initial fiddling to get it right but once sorted the fit is perfect, normally a struggle for my larger than average shoulders. A cautionary note however to those with ample man boobage, you may have to fiddle with it when out of bike gear to stop that Pamela Anderson trying to squeeze onto a rollercoaster harness look. Overall great quality, packed full of features and super comfortable.

Absolutely brilliant. Fits really well and doesn't catch the wind or feel like it’s trying to fly off as its snug against the back. The best way to explain the bag in my opinion is, when you prepare to pack a bag or a roll bag for a long weekend and you think to yourself should I pack a small bag inside for the ridding I do once I’ve got to my destination and dumped all my belongings in the hotel and only need a few bits and bobs for the excursions? You don’t need to pack one any more, expand the bag, stuff it full and then dump the non essentials at the hotel ,make the bag smaller and go out riding! The build quality is solid. I have a shoei gt air 2 and there’s plenty of room to put it inside the bag with room to spare.

The new 28 from Kriega Is a comfortable backpack to wear because of the quadloc System. Its an expensive bag But its quality & a 10 year guarantee cant go wrong with that. Its the second Krieger bag I own Have the messenger bag as well. Recommend this backpack.

Have owned both R20 (seems a bit small) and R25 (nice size) before R28 Max. R28 appears more classic (due to the lid) and more urban backpack. Nice to have the opportunity to change from 22 to 28 liters size. Dont need laptop pocket but think outer pocket is nice with many small pockets to organize the little things. A backpack I would recommend others to buy.
