“This versatile garment is potentially the most useful piece of riding kit I’ve purchased. I have ridden with it down to about 10 degrees with a regular hoodie on top and up to 30 with it exclusively with little to no discomfort. As far as fit is concerned be sure to follow the size chart provided by Urban Rider. The Knox chart would have me in an XL, but I am not the type to ride in a girdle. The large microlock back protector is not only comfortable, but I believe it will provide the necessary protection in the event of an off. Same goes for the shoulder and more than adequate elbow armor. I will say the back armor may create some perspiration but the airflow will quickly wick that away. I can identify three cons with this garment. The lesser of the three is the pockets. For such a tailored fit they prove mostly useless for anything beyond a slip of paper. The second is the colorway I’ve chosen (black) doesn’t exactly shed the heat of direct sunlight at a standstill. and finally, the belt loops are slightly difficult to thread with a belt, but I figure there’s not much that can be done about that.”

“Feels and looks great. I like the fact you can wear it on it's own or it will fit easily under any jacket/ hoody of your choice. Suggested sizing is pretty accurate. I would go one size larger than normal as others seem to suggest. Thanks Urban Rider for the great service!”

“Great protective shirt. Fits incredible (I usually wear medium but ordered large at 6’2 and 41 inch chest. Would recommend ordering a size up. This will be my only protective top for a while as I can wear any jacket, hoodie, sweater, rain coat over it and switch up my style! I also like the look of just the shirt on its own for hot summer days. Ventilation is amazing and surprisingly comfortable. This is a must have for every biker.”

“All my jackets have built in protectors but wanted one of these for ages - and pleased to buy it far cheaper than it was a year ago. Never thought I'd ever buy anything from Urban Rider - so a pleasant surprise on price. Arrived in a couple of days and as with all Knox garments it exudes quality, top manufacture and thought in its design (the two size / position internal security belt loops for example). And it's not at all heavy like a thick leather with protectors in. At @ £139 I think it's real value. Worn it a few times under Brandit M61 canvas fashion jackets with a light compression shirt underneath (without, it's not scratchy or "plasticky" on the skin) and looking forward to a warmer day to wear it alone or with other lighter tops. Ordered "L" size and arrived with "L" tags / info and labels on packaging. However, stitched in the collar is "XL". I'm 5 foot 8 large to medium build at 12 stone now (was almost 15 stone this time last year!) with 41 - 42 chest with wide shoulders and very long arms. L in tops and jackets always my default size to go for although tight fitting. This XL fits close, snug and comfortably across shoulders, chest and arms - which is how its supposed to fit. Length (and arm length) also good. Nothing loose when all zipped up with a security belt added and doesn't move or slip about. L would almost certainly have fitted like a tight wet suite i.e. uncomfortably tight and restrictive. Spoke to Urban Rider who reckon the jacket was mispackage as L. All's well that ends well then. Signed up for news letter and when next back in London will look to make time to drop in.”

“Just Awesome! Cant say enough on how the shirt feels, it just fits like its supposed to , gives you that extra bit of confidence when ur riding Great airflow, the positioning of the armor is spot on and as others have also said order 1 size up, i bought a XXL and fits me perfectly ( im 6,1 - 210lbs with broad shoulders)originally i tried a 3XL but felt it was just a bit too much extra material and was too long The back pocket is perfect and holds my baseball hat no problem I can confirm the from chest pocket does hold a iphone 12 pro with case on perfectly as well”
