“The jacket is awesome! I purchased one for other half to wear under a wax cotton and was so impressed I bought one for myself. The extra abrasion protection and closer fitting armour under a touring jacket or the flexibility to wear under a moto jersey on hot days makes for a much safer, flexible and stylish riding outfit. Another advantage this jacket is low profile and fits under all of my hoodies and tight fitting running/outdoor jackets with layers to spare. 5.11 79kg, slim, 40inch chest, size large is a good fit. A bit tight in shoulder region and slightly restrictive for arms over head. A lining in parts may have been better as the protective mesh is not so comfortable on the skin in parts. Garment abrasion panels are joined by stretch mesh in a few places and i dont know if a super fabric but am skeptical how that joining mesh would fare in an off. Back armour is thick which makes garment tight, so i have swapped for a rukka full back protector. I found the stock shoulder armour pinches skin when in riding position, Ive now swapped for d30 which is more comfortable and swapped for see smart in elbows. Personally i prefer d30 to Knox armour, the Knox armour seems more protective. Dont see the armour swaps a negative, i have done this for many garments. For me, thinner armour give more room in garment. That said increased space in shoulders would be better. Not aware of anything else on market like this, out of the box its great, i definitely recommend. Cant wait to see the knox version 2 or competitors release their own version.”

“Great option to keep you cool or allow you to wear almost any top over it. My denim jacket has no stretch to it so it is not possible to wear over the Urbane Pro as the sleeves are too tight so restricts movement. It works perfect with my Barbour, hoodies and North Face”
