“This is a great bit of kit! Im a 44" chest and the Large is pretty snug, but very comfortable. I can wear pretty much any coat or sweatshirt over it and it looks fine so no need to buy other coats. I reckon it will also look pretty good over a T-shirt on hot days too.”

“Really well made jacket and surprisingly feels like a lot of protection for such a light garment. Great riding with this on the other day with a hoodie over the top. Can’t wait for the big ball of yellow in the sky to give us some heat and wear it on its own…with some trousers of course !”

“I was really concerned about sizing on the Urbane Pro. Im 5 10", 155 lb., 39.5" chest and 31.5" waist - so almost always fit into a size M. Didnt want to believe I needed an L, I emailed and called UR several times and each time was told to go with the L. Great call guys, perfect fit, M would have been way too tight. Sizing aside, its a great looking piece of kit, really high quality. I thought the mesh parts might be a bit flimsy, but construction is really solid while still keeping the weight down. Love the flexibility in terms of wearing it as a stand alone or combining with a warm or waterproof outer layer. Also great job by UR fulfilling the order. I live in Toronto Canada, placed the order and had it at my door in just over 48 hours. I wouldnt hesitate to buy again from you guys - thanks.”

“Heres a counterpoint to some of the excellent reviews. The shirt is very well constructed and I have no doubt it would protect you in a crash, but I, unfortunately, found it very uncomfortable. I tried a couple of sizes but once on, they just felt wrong. I appreciate that its a new thing to get used to, wearing an abrasion layer this close to the skin, but after wearing it for a few hours around the house and while working at my desk (not comparable to sitting on a bike I agree!) it really wasnt doing it for me. The materials not soft or flexible enough for my liking and the whole garment just felt uncomfortable, particularly the shoulder pads which dug into my arms when raised to a riding height. Its also much bulkier than anticipated, so the dream of wearing whatever I wanted over the top is sadly (at least for my wardrobe) greatly exaggerated. I big baggy coat would have gone over, but all my normal shirts, jumpers and regular walking jackets etc had a real job fitting comfortably on top of it, and restricted the movement of the arms to almost nil. As I tried two sizes, I could compare the hand-made construction as well. One garment had very uneven cuts of material, resulting in one side of the collar been a good inch wider near beside the zip at the collar than the other side, and one of the arms seemed twisted around almost 45-degrees resulting in bad armour placement at the elbow. If you get a good sample, find it comfy and can wear baggy clothes on top of it, it will be a truly wonderful jacket as advertised - but its deffinitely not for everybody.”

If you like protection, style and feeling like a motorcycle superman/street ninja then buy one. Extra ninja points for the all black version.”
