“I ordered a mantel beam to go over my fireplace. The order and delivery process was hassle free. I don't usually like 'imperfect wood' (i.e. with splits and knots) however this does add to the character of the wood. I think without it, it would look more like a plank stuck on a wall. The beam matches my modern oak furniture really well and the finish looks very professional. It is of course a heavy - it took two people to hang my 48" long 4 x 4 " beam, but the fixings were easy to use.”

“Had some fairly crazy quotes for the supply of mantels and came across this one. Really pleased with how it looks and it was fairly easy to fit, the fixing points on the back could be better though, however, wouldn't put me off using again or recommending to others.”

“Beautiful aged oak beam which will be used as a mantle piece. Just a shame that the concealed fixings weren't included for a 8"x6" section beam as they are with every other size beam. Think it should be advertised as a package as per all other beams and the necessary amount supplied. For the sake of a few quid for an extra few fixings for a near £200 beam, they should be included really. Great customer service and delivery but the exempt fixings niggled me, sorry.”
