“We got the oak beam with the Jacobean stain which is absolutely stunning. The wood had natural cracks and knots which added to the overall character, but the beam has been well sanded and oiled and is so smooth. Delivery was quick, only took a few days after ordering. The only downside was that I felt the brackets supplied with our beam (3.5ftx6x4) were too short so we bought some longer nails to fit - our fireplace has plasterboard over the bricks so we needed the extra length.”

“Chuffed to bits ! I suppose you can only review the item when you've experienced it for a period of time but visually looks great and adds that touch to a tall bland wall around the log burner. The service was prompt and an effortless straightforward website... now where's that corkscrew !”
