“Excellent clock - very easy to find code on github (astlouys) and then adapt it to your heart's content. Managed to get it working quickly and then filled in a few challenging hours getting it working as I wanted it. The NTP syncing is great and the clock powers up ready to go, so no more setting up. It covers timezones, summertime shifts and has multiple alarms. I found the controls tricky (only 3 buttons) so have implemented a web page to control.
It is a little bit bright overnight but dimmer than a previous clock - the display is a bit larger than a bedside clock radio so you get more light.
I found an external passive buzzer really improves the operation.

“I bought this with a Pi Pico kit, to replace my aging wall clock, which has stopped automatically setting the time.
The instructions for the kit were good, although the initial code was limited in what functions you can use. There is other code online, but I am yet to try them. A very nice wee clock for my office / shack, which is dimmable, and takes virtually no power at all”
