I'm putting together Pico Christmas presents, and these will be great.

The module was easy to use, and the examples that are available get you started to use the module and display some simple data on it. For this I used MicroPython and Thorny.

Another easy to use starter board that plugs straight into a Pi Pico or the adaptor board. Library code in C or Python available (7z zip) makes getting it up and running very fast (although I've not yet tried to use in anger in a real project yet). As with other boards there is good documentation, including schematic.

I used this along with the WaveShare RTC module to make a little clock for the other half. The screen is plenty bright enough ( though couldn’t figure out how to control the brightness) and the library provided is suitable for basic tasks and a good starting place for your projects!

It does what it says on the tin, what more can I say.

Sharp, contrasting display. Works perfectly to display text and small, monochrome images.
