“One thing to note: the base enclosure doesn't physically attach to the Argon One case, so I'll probably use a couple of elastic bands to keep them together.
Besides that, this neat little base enclosure is incredibly easy to assemble - no screwdriver needed - and takes no more than 15 minutes to put together. It's an elegant solution for storing the SSD your Pi boots from. I paired it with a short USB-to-SSD cable from The Pi Hut and my desk already looks so much tidier. When I eventually move this setup down to the server room, it'll take up far less space than I expected.”
“Heyo! This is a very simple way to tidy up your Pi SSD setup. I previously used a powered SSD read and write docking station which was way to clunky. This solved a lot of my issues and cleared up my desk. One thing to note, the base enclosure is not attached to the case. I recommend a tight rubber band if you want to secure the base station to your Argon one case :)”
“Very handy expansion for the argon case, would be helpful if there were longer screws included to fasten everything together as the screw holes for the base and case line up, have purchased some M2.5 x 25mm extras to solve that. Don't intend to move it around a lot, but still, maybe a missed opportunity”
“It's a decent enough setup. Very easy to put together. The only thing that stopped me from giving it 5 stars is that it would have been handy if there was some form of system to hold it in place so that if you lifted the Raspberry Pi, it didn't dangle in mid-air. Maybe a bit of thickish velcro strategically placed might be in order.”
