Was a little disappointed with this case. The cut is not very accurate and I have had to file a couple of the edges to fit properly. Also I have found that the holes to mount the camera do not line up correctly. This issue could be solved by making the camera lens hole bigger to allow for alignment.

Finally I got around to assembling the PI Zero/Pi Zero Camera/Pi Case I bought together to ensure that I had all the right parts. No instructions so I went to the site to find at least a photo. Buyer comments often very helpful, and saw reference to instructions. Looked closer found a link but why not give the link on the label? Second disapointment; I discovered from another buyer that zero + zero case does not = zero camera! Still, no problem, I have a spare 1.3 Pi camera. Except that the cable size isn't the same so you need an adaptor cable that i dont have! The instructions dissapointing too. "Make sure to connect the cable the right way". I think anyone who knows the "right way" doesnt need to be told that, and anyone who does needs to be told what the right way IS! Overall, a little effort by Pi-Hut and the experience would have been so much better.

Surprisingly sturdy since it's all slotted together, very reasonable price.

Gekocht om een Rpi Zero in te bouwen met een ZeroCam-Camera, maar is er niet voor geschikt. Weggegooid geld.

Two problems, one of my partial making. FIrstly, the case holds the PiZero on standoffs, a short one between one side and the Pi and a second, extending the short ones to the other side of the case to hold that side on. Fine, except that all the standoffs I was supplied with were male to female and then bolts to fasten them to the case sides, no nuts for the male end sticking out of the case side. So it is now stuck together with sellotape. Second problem was that I bought a piZero, a piZeroCam and a piZero camera case. Spot the mistake? No neither did I until it arrived and found the instructions say the piZeroCam is not suited to the piZero case and indeed it will not work as shown in the instructions. In fact, by inverting the assembly and attaching the pizero itself to the same wall as the camera is on, the cable will stretch and the camera can be fitted into the hole and again, sellotape helps hold it.So I do now have a working system. But Pi Hut should supply the correct components in all cases and it would be more helpful if they double checked orders such as mine for a sensible combination of purchases. Yes, purchasing the wrong thing was my fault, the website does tell you (found subsequently) that the camera and case are not made for each other, but in the rush of purchase and "quick view", it is easy to get it wrong. Pi Hut could do more.
