“Nice little technical challenge on top of setting up the Pi but not too difficult for a complete novice to set up. Mine came with hexagonal heat exchange windows rather than horizontal slots, Which I quite happily preferred stylistically, and the viewing window is a nice touch! As other reviews mention, Fan does have a fairly high pitch whine, and with the current installation setup there is no Easy way to set up throttling for when the high speed whine isn't necessary. The more technical solutions to quiet it down will need to wait till I'm a bit more confident in what I am doing as they are not for beginners! Wouldn't want it on if using the pi directly next to me, but for a Headless home server set up in another room works like a dream.”
