“Tidy little case, very easy to assemble. However, the HDMI ports are set too far back from the case walls, so the cables won't connect fully. You'll need to widen the hole with a file or similar to be able to use the HDMI. Hopefully this will be corrected in a future version of the case.
The fan is also very loud, and it spins constantly, even when the Pi is turned off. As long as it has power, the fan will spin. It doesn't come with the components to enable a condition-based fan activation.”
“The case is good, easy to assemble and looks nice.
I bought the case because it included a fan, unfortunately it is really loud and you can not control the RPM. Recommend if noise level is not an issue, if you look for a quiet case with a fan i would look at other cases and/or by a separate fan.”
“A good looking case, easy to put together. I found a couple of quirks. The fan supplied was noisy when attached to the case. It could simply be a dodgy fan. As it happens I had another one and use that and it was nice and quiet. The second issue was I found my micro HDMI cable wouldn't inset far enough into the socket as it was blocked by the case aperture. I used dremel to take a little bit of the covering off the cable and it was ok then.”
“This case is extremely easy to set up. It provides a lot of support for the Raspberry Pi. My only issue is that it is VERY loud! When I say loud, I mean very loud. I must give credit when it's due, the fan does keep the Raspberry Pi cool. Therefore, you've got a choice. Loudness = Coolness. As for me, I'm still undecided. My Fan SHIM for Raspberry Pi was silent compared to this.”
“Really nice simple case, works well with POE hat but the HDMI ports are a little too far back so not able to plug in connector deep enough to get signal.”
