Easy to assemble even for a fat fingered person like me. Migrating from the usb boot to the ssd boot was a bit more trickier than first thought and I bought two. Neither one was the same process. So my conclusion is buy it along with your Pi and flash it at the same time. But saying that the various AI out there did help with working it out if you do add ons like me. Ps it boots really fast now.

I thought the upbeat statements about this SSD KIT was just hype but boy am I wrong. My Pi5 now is as fast, if not faster, than my mini desktop also fitted with a SSD. If you want a Pi5 with speed, fit this SSD Kit.

Used this one for a faster Nextcloud data drive. Three partitions boot, root and data.

Stand offs/spacers do not allow it to fit inside the NVMe case without shortening them.

Blindingly fast and loads of storage now with this kit. However three problems with the install:- 1. The box I bought along with the Pi 5 not that long ago is too small and not designed for this. 2. It took a while to persaude the Pi to 'see' the new disk 3. It took even longer to work out how to get 'Permission' to load files into the new SSD. Maybe I missed it somewhere but the step by step giude I was using simply didn't cover these 'showstoppers'. Bought a 'twice the size' new box at £17 plus P&P.
