“Just my experience, but the installation of raspberian on a new Pi did not work. Went through the installation routine and on reboot just got a black screen. A quick google highlighted this a a common problem? The fix was to download latest image and flash to the SD card using etcher. Popped in the Pi, powered on and worked first time.”
