“I bought the preinstalled version because I had a number of problems trying to install any other way. I bought a barebones Raspberry Pi 2. It was cheaper and I had lots of memory cards and cables. However, as yet, I have been able to do no more than get my TV to acknowledge the existence of the Pi 2. I get a message on top of screen “Recorder (Raspberry Pi)” and that’s it. I am still trying to find out what is going wrong.”
