“I can download and write SD cards, but this is a far more convenient way of getting the latest stable release of Raspbian etc. at very little extra cost.”
“Whether you're good at downloading an OS image or not this is still the best way to do it. You'll need a memory card anyway - why not get it with an up to date OS on it too?”
