“The all-in-one keyboard/pi is like a jump back to home competes in the 1980s - in a good way. Less cables and overall less footprint as so much is inside the keyboard. Love it!”
“The PI 500 is an excellent flexible small form factor computer. It doesn't take up much room as the PI is within the keyboard. It being bundled with PiOS on an SD card means that the unit was up and running in minutes and the feature of booting from an SD card means a very flexible way to use multiple OS's, something I will be doing in the near future.”
“My mother wanted a new computer for basic tasks, such as word processing, internet, youtube, etc. The Raspberry Pi 500 is ideal, I'm just a bit sad there was no 16GB version available when I ordered it. Not sure if it would be needed though, the 8GB one seems to do very well so far. I've coupled it with a relatively cheap portable screen and a PD battery bank that can handle both. Brilliant!”
“Well the Pi 500 is quite remarkable considering what is actually inside the case, and it has two 4k HDMI ports! The only minor issue I experience is it takes circa ten seconds or more to open a web page, even those that on other systems are know to be very responsive. But all in all a good device,”
“Very nice compact unit..it saves space by having the pi in the keyboard..reminds me of the computers of the 1990's..Very handy for quick way to browse the web or for a bit of coding..Good buy.”
“No kits available and after watching the teardown I'm hoping they release a plus model with an NVMe. Works just fine, nice form factor, just would have preferred a kit without mouse, PSU. Heck £200 kit with a screen and everything able to setup would have been great.”
