“The optical quality is a big improvement on the V2. Took a bit of setting up with libcamera but well worth it. Again the delivery from The Pi Hut was superb. Ordered one day and received the next.”

“Arrived promptly. Basic setup was easy and results an improvement on the v2 camera. I have yet to delve into the complexities of picam and libcam.”

“be aware - like all things pi it is not plug-and-play and the instructions are not necessarily correct however after some youtube hunts it works well and does what it says fun for learning frustrating for using”

“Great camera module, autofocus works very well. Images are very sharp. Pity standard software (motionEye, Octoprint etc.) has yet to catch up often still using old Pi camera commands, but considering mostly free I can't really complain.”
