so far I haven't been able to get it to work with Ubuntu 23.10/23.04. I had other issues with pre-release version of 24.04. Hoping things this work better with the final 24.04 version. In the worst case I may have to use the debian os for the pi 5 and this camera module. Hoping it works with the final ubuntu 24.04 when it releases later this week. I assume I will eventually get this to work when I figure out the proper drivers, configuration etc...

New camera module with excellent quality pictures and video. Regret that the new module is too big to fit where earlier module fitted in the case. Some minor prefabrication required to increase window to 10.8 mm. otherwise cheap quick and reliable.

Arrived quickly, without any issues. Works perfectly with a Pi Zero 2 w. However, the field-of-view is a bit small for an FPV drone, if I was ordering it again I would pick the wide-angle version.

Cameras are good, and fun to use. But I've bought 4 of the v3's now. 3 standard and 1 wide. They have all had hot pixels when I do long exposures. Only a couple here and there on each cam, in different places, but they are visible. Not visible for normal daylight or lighted rooms however. HDR is good too.
