“This is vital for the pi 5. The only thing i would say it would benefit from is an isolation switch as completely powering down involves unplugging it from the mains, it will just sit in stand by after shutting down your software. In my case i have to do this on a live mains board that cannot be switched off. A way to isolate the power from the pi5 would be a good edition. Plus make the cable longer but probably could be extended with a usb c extension.”
