“I can only recommend the official pi power supply for pi5 if you're actually attaching anythign additional like usb devices or nvme hats. I tried a few non-standard power supplies and even my pi 4 supply with a pi5 that was heavily loaded. Things did not end well with a lot of slowness and crashing. The official pi5 supply is a must.”
