“Beautifully machined and simple to install. Can't really comment on how loud the fan is as I don't seem to make the Pi work hard enough to need it! It's a little noisy when it spins up during boot, but it's running full speed and only for a couple of seconds. Even without the fan, the heat sink keeps my Pi at about 45 degrees while I'm writing code and generally messing around so I'm very happy with it. For a fiver, you can't go wrong”
“Good replacement for the fan on the stock case. Keeps the machine cooler and makes less noise, and you can take the lid off without worrying about what to do with the fan cable. (unplugging the fan can be problematic, it would seem that it's fairly easy to bend the connector pins!) That said, by default the CPU temp is still hotter than I'd like and it makes a little more noise when loaded than I would like. Would choose this over the case fan every time.”
