But that's fine, especially if all future RPi fans follow the design of this one: it comes with thermal pads, is whisper quiet, and keeps your Pi nice and cool. All a person needs out of an active cooler.”
“A simple idea brilliantly executed. Not an essential accessory for the Pi 5 but one that is well worth considering. It is a device that you fit and forget. The nylon securing pins are not designed for removal but this is not important because this cooler doesn't obstruct any of the Pi's connectors. There is one tricky bit to installing it. This is plugging the unit to the fan socket on the board. The socket is small and you have to be careful to get the plug the right way about. The fan itself is silent and is switched on/off without any user intervention.”
