It's quicker and more useful than the pi 4. With the pi imager software you can get it up and running in no time. My sites are now hosted from this useful bit of kit.

Fantastic new addition to my pi collection, its happily crypto mining at 3 times the hash rate of my pi 4's I love the fan shim although it didn't work properly at first because one of the pins on the board for the fan must've been out of line and became bent over so it ran at full speed constantly. Once I found this and sorted it it is now whisper quiet but will ramp up the speed if required.

Blisteringly Fast compared to my pi4. Shame it doesn't have a headphone socket though hence 4 star and not 5 star.

Preordered the Pi5. Site kept up to date with estimated arrival. Pi was well packaged and safe. Pi itself working great. Can’t wait for all the software support coming.

Eagerly awaited and so far living up to expectations. This is a cool piece of kit, and it is handling multiple programs at the same time with ease. I tried out using the latest version of Sonic Pi 4.5 for Raspberry Pi Bookworm, together with a Libre Office Slide show, and OBS recording the screen plus audio and it didn't have any problems with this. The bluetooth performance with external speakers is good and easy to set up. I've mainly used it with Wayland, but occasionally switched back to X11. Requires a restart but otherwise OK. Also I find Pipewire works pretty well with audio midi and video routing.
