“I needed a 'lightweight' desktop PC for when I'm away from home. The Pi 5 seemed to be a cheaper alternative to an entry-level laptop (Chrome book )& more 'fun' to put together. I must say I'm quite impressed with its performance gauged against my ageing MacMini i7, 16GB & 1TB SSD.
Some other reviews wanting more memory etc are really missing the point. If you want more memory etc BUY A 'PROPER' MB & roll your own ! The clue is in the name, SINGLE BOARD COMPUTER.”
“It's a Raspberry Pi 5. What else is there to say? It's as easy to use as the previous versions but faster. So for that it gets 5 out of 5 stars as it's the best Raspberry Pi for my user case on sale.”
