“Super impressed with my Pi5, pre-ordered with the case, PSU and Active Cooler, all work seamlessly together. Amazingly, ThePiHut sent it the Friday before Christmas and it arrived on the Saturday morning, so I had some time to mess with it over the holiday. It boots to desktop in about 10 seconds, is way faster than my old Pi4 (which has now been relegated to Pi-Hole duties), and I can't believe how responsive it is, happy to play YouTube thru the Chromium at full HD, emulates retro games without breaking a sweat and makes our old TV a very usable Smart TV.

“Fast little single-board computer, even just using the micro SD slot. Will use either a USB3 portable SSD, or, if an interface for the PCIe slot to use an NVME is produced, will try that. Seems to be equivalent in speed to an Intel i5 laptop processor from about 2014-15.”
