“OK so its faster than the 4 but, in my opinion and use case, NOT fast enough to use as a desktop replacement. Fortunately I dont need it for that purpose as I bought it to ensure that when I need it in the near future I will have it to hand.”
“The RPi5 is noticeably faster than the RPi4. I initially set this up with RPI OS on an SD card and it worked fine. I couldn't get the RPi5 to USB boot, but that was because it didn't like the Dynamode USB3 interface I was using. When I changed it for the PiHut's USB3-Sata cable (SKU 103222) it worked fine. Great service from PiHut again!”
