Very nice Pi HATs. Currently using them to power my 4-node Pi 4 cluster, have no complaints and would definitely buy again.

I wanted to hide my home automation Pi 4, this is ideal for that only needing a network cable from my POE switch. This is one of the better PoE Hats. Even though it has a fan on it, the hat regulates the use of the fan so it is not on full blast, the fan only comes on when required and is extrmely quiet. Unfortunately my first PoE had a failed components and had to sent back, Pi Hut were amazing and sent me a replacement which is working amazing. Definately a fantastic way to power your Home Automation host. ( Which is what i an using it for )

Works as advertised. The fan nose wasn't as bad as other reviews had lead me to believe and it is configurable using kernel configuration parameters which can be found online. I only wish that the kit included more installation accessories, spacers etc. as I had to do some hacky stuff to get these installed into a Uctronics cluster case.

I'm really happy with the PoE+ HAT. I built a mini HPC from five 4GB RPi4s and I wanted to add a sixth node. Unlike my order from RS Electronics, from whom I ordered the first five which arrived a month after I actually cancelled the order, the HAT from PiHut arrived a day after I placed the order and it is happily running off my JetStream PoE switch. A bit out of date now, but hopefully soon to be updated, you can read more about my project at https://carpentriesoffline.org
