“I found the Raspberry Pi Monitor to be a convenient size, with a sharp clear image, easy to use and matches the Pi very well. I am very happy with its performance.”
“I like it. Good vewing screen with sound, and the ability to power it over USB from the Raspberry Pi is really good. Only niggle is I wish the sound was a bit louder, but I've not tried it with a separate power supply.
A Raspberry Pi, plus the Monitor, and a Keyboard is almost as portable as a Laptop, providing you have access to a power outlte.”
“This an excellent addition to the RPi 500, it has a good quality screen and I use it with the RPi500 when we travel, it goes in a large shoulder bag easily and because it can take its charge from the Pi, it can work of one charger, sound can be put through a lot of bluetooth speakers to improve it, or better still make your own, some good kits out there.”
“I highly recommended it in a Raspberry 400/500 setup. Very light and beautiful. Has built in speakers. The screen quality is great. My son's loves it.”
“Brilliant standalone monitor, very nice to stand on the desk next to a laptop for a second display. I'm sitting at a window with the sun shining in on to the wall, and the monitor is bright enough at 60% (powered from the laptop USB port). The design and build quality is excellent as usual from Raspberry Pi. The stereo speakers built in to the monitor are fine but more tinny sounding than the built in speakers on my laptop. The stand on the back is very cleverly designed, it is a stiff friction hinge so you can set it at any angle. There are big soft rubber feet on the bottom edge of the monitor so it stands very stable on the desk.”
“an excellent complement to the Raspberry Pi 500 purchased for my 8 years old grandson, who has 'migrated' from an old windows computer to this setup without difficulty.”
