“I had designed a pcb (and got it fabricated by JLCPCB) to mount this Pico W. Using a good flux and quality solder it was a breeze to solder this direct to the pcb. The whole assembly is getting mounted in a room sensor enclosure (SKU: 104034 ) along with a bms280 sensor (SKU: PIM472) and a remote 1-wire temperature sensor. The project allows me to monitor the wall temperature of a cold cupboard and the cupboards air temp & humidity and from that I am able to calculate the air's dew-point that determines whether I need to switch on an electric tube heater or not. The Pico W arrived promptly and all is now working fine.”

“I have several pico's and love their speed and simplicity of use with micropython and thonny ide Having the extra connectivity gives even more scope to extend d my range of robots. I particularly like the extra ground pins, useful for connecting switches to pulled up pins.”
