This worked from a Windows desktop but I normally run a Linux desktop and the versions of Thonny in the repositories seem to be old versions not supporting Picp-ised Python. “I have purchased a few of these including the original Non-WiFi versions. Very useful devices and now even more useful now that ESPHome now supports the RP2040. I may migrate most of my sensors from EP8266 and ESP32s using Pico W's from now on. The service and delivery from Pi Hut was as trouble-free as usual.”

“arrived promptly despite uk po strikes. Once i had read up on it i was able to replace a pi zero w on my anemometer nwith the pico at 1/3 the cost.”
