“As a one-time professional user of chip boards I assess the Pico as first class manufacture. Soldering to a header strip was easy.
The major liability was with programming the chip. The "getting started" book has ambiguities and errors in presentation. Somehow muddled through the intro text and after about 15-20 hours of ' plug and unplug' and downloading files have got a functionng system. Bit worried about durability of the micro-usb connector with dozens of connects.
As usual The PiHut were exceptionally good with order fulfillment and back-up. Pity I don't know what I don't know when in dialogue about obscure software. Basic, Delphi, and Forth were my experience.”

“Had to get one of these as soon as I heard about it! Great little board with a lot of nifty features I'm not used to on the Arduinos I've typically used, only downside is the lack of pins, but understandable at the price, and the headers are only £1 anyway.
