“Excellent little board that (now) works swimmingly using probe-rs to drive it. However, initially failed to work which was tracked down to an ancient version of Debug Probe firmware (V1.0.1 from Nov 2022) shipping with a probe purchased in Jan 2025. Reflashed the Debug Probe with the latest firmware which resulted in significantly improved behaviour! Definitely worth making sure you're running a recent version of firmware before using and perhaps @ThePiHut could suggest to Raspberry Pi that they update the image they're using in manufacturing?”
