Easy to use with Getting Started Instructions online. Only problem is that the Raspberry Pi Pico 2 doesn't have the JST SH connector or headers (even on headered board) for debug. So I needed to get and solder some headers on myself.

I ordered this at 13:30 and it arrived at 11:00 the next day!! What a difference to debugging it makes - definitiely worth the money. I know I could have used a Pi Pico but with the cables and enclosure it just makes life so much easier. If you use C++ with a Pico this is a must have.

Plugged it in. It worked. Waaay better than the compile, hold boot, restart, copy&paste loop. Setting it up for a Rust project in vscode still seems slightly limited (or just more complicated to configure and I'm doing it wrong) as I can't get print outputs and breakpoints to work at the same time.

Great product. Only just found out that you can simultaneously debug and utilise the uart over the same USB port. Very handy. Really should read the manual. Only criticism is that the pin outs should be written on the circuit board, would save a lot of faffing about.

Excellent little board that (now) works swimmingly using probe-rs to drive it. However, initially failed to work which was tracked down to an ancient version of Debug Probe firmware (V1.0.1 from Nov 2022) shipping with a probe purchased in Jan 2025. Reflashed the Debug Probe with the latest firmware which resulted in significantly improved behaviour! Definitely worth making sure you're running a recent version of firmware before using and perhaps @ThePiHut could suggest to Raspberry Pi that they update the image they're using in manufacturing?
