“⭐☆☆☆☆ Faulty item + 2-week RMA silence; told “out of stock” after return
Ordered a board that arrived with a faulty USB data port out of the box—so much for “extensively tested.” I contacted PiHut immediately and then waited over two weeks just to receive an RMA. By the time the RMA finally came through and I returned the item, support told me they were now out of stock and could only offer a refund.
Result: nearly three weeks wasted, other components sat idle, and no replacement for a part that was in stock when I first reported the fault. That’s not customer care—that’s poor QA and slower-than-acceptable RMA handling. Sending automated “please review us” emails while an unresolved fault drags on is the final insult.
If you need reliability and responsive support, look elsewhere.”
